The shortage of skilled labour is particularly noticeable in hospitals, where the staffing situation is chronically tense. In order to take the pressure off hospital staff, smart approaches are needed that reduce workload and help staff to focus on the most important thing: the patients. When it comes to patient coordination in particular, digitalisation holds great potential for optimisation, which we at OPASCA aim to exploit with our digital patient management solutions. Our features are made up of various hardware and software components and aim to automate standardised processes in radiotherapy and involve patients more closely. CheckIn terminals allow patients to register independently, Patient Navigation & Patient Guide navigates them to the appropriate treatment room and Patient Calling enables patients to be called digitally and in compliance with data protection regulations, while the Infotainment feature provides the necessary entertainment during the waiting time.
